Name: Vita Clotilde
Canon: Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
Assumed Canon Point: After Vita is outvoted and Ouroboros decides to work with Osbourne's plan. No specific time was given for this, but it should be between the finale and divertissment of CS2.
True Canon Point: Same.

History: Here (Warning: link contains minor CS3 spoilers). As far as headcanon goes, the main thing would be that I'd headcanon that Crow was given some sort of memorial after everything was over and Vita did attend, albeit in disguise. She definitely was fond of him, but it wasn't anything more than that. Their relationship would be more akin to him being like her loyal knight in not so shining armor. As far as how long Vita as been with Ouroboros, we don't have a timeframe for that, but I'd estimate at least five years before CS1. Knowing how she is, she would have spent some time scouting possible candidates to awaken Ordine before picking Crow.
Personality: Vita is definitely the sort of person who can put up an act and appear to be the sort of person she needs to be for a given situation. This can make it really difficult for others to know what she is actually up to since she can act like she's friendly and on your side, only to turn around and completely betray. She acts with a goal in mind and her actions are meant to fulfill her goals, which are to ensure the success of her mission and to support her clan of witches. However, one thing does stand apart: she does seem capable of being loyal to people. Despite her breaking the taboo and joining Ouroboros, she is loyal to her clan of witches. She did this because she felt doing so was the best way to accomplish their goals.

One definitely cannot say that Vita is truly a good person. After all, she did assist Crow knowing full well that he was planning on an assassination and that would spark a civil war. Also she did use Crow for her own purposes even if she did seem to be genuinely fond of him. However, we do see she has moments where she will attempt to prevent needless bloodshed. Her goals are important, but it isn't good to accomplish them with more casualties than necessary. She was definitely displeased when Baron Schwarzer was injured in the attack on Ymir and nearly died, but wasn't upset about the attack itself. When Rean was rescued, she was the one who suggested they call it a draw and give up Rean peacefully. She's not against bloodshed and killing, but it has to have a purpose for her to be willing to take part in it and she would have to see it as the best way to reach her goals. If she can see an alternate route, she'll avoid bloodshed. If bloodshed is necessary, she'll keep it to a minimum. She's definitely more the sort that would prefer to kill one instead of many, but she also would feel no guilt for killing that one.

Vita also is definitely not the sort to fight battles. She is capable, but she tends to prefer to act from afar. Most of her appearances are actually a projection of her image that she communicates through. She actually has very few face to face appearances and even many of those consist of her disguising her true self.

One last thing that is very important to mention is that at heart, Vita is a selfish person. Outside of a few people, she's unlikely to make any effort to help others unless it would benefit her in some manner. She isn't the type to selflessly protect another person and definitely not the type to put herself at risk for the sake of others. If she does act in this manner, she has a reason for it. Even if that reason is to curry favor from someone or keep up appearances for whatever act she is playing, she is going to have a reason. "Because it's the right thing to do" will never be a justification she's going to give and mean it.
Memories:
1. Duke Cayenne awakening Testa-Rossa. This goes up to the two battles with the party against the Divine Knight, but won't include Valimar and Ordine fighting it.
2. The party fighting against the mana-enhanced Grianos and obtaining the last piece of Zemuira Ore they needed.
3. Rean being kidnapped by the Noble Alliance and escaping with Princess Alfin
4. A little chat at night with Rean while she was pretending to be Misty
5. The first time she met Crow via Duke Cayenne.

Possessions:
1. Her outfit from when she was pretending to be Misty
2. The fan she uses as a weapon in CS3
3. Grianos (note: outside of the fact that Vita can channel magic through him, Grianos is pretty much a normal bird).
4. Crow's blade card deck
5. A sheet of stickers for Abend Time
6. A score from one of the operas she performed in
7. The staff she uses in CS2 (if permitted since it technically belongs to the elder of the Hexen Clan, but it was in Vita's possession for all of CS1 and CS2)
8. Her CS2 outfit
9. Her outfit in CS3/CS4.
Physiology: N/A, witches are just humans capable of using magic and that's going to be nerfed anyhow. Something that may be worth noting is that witches are trained to be able to sense magic and strange phenomena when active even if they don't have an obvious visual effect. This is something anyone can learn with training and could potentially be of use even without her normal powers.
Motives: For Vita there are a few easy motives that could work for her. One would be to change the past and she'd change it so Crow was successful in killing Giliath Osbourne. The second would be to attempt to prevent Crow from being able to be resurrected. Potential harm towards Emma could also work. About the only other motivation that could work is to weaken the Gnomes since the Hexen Clan and Gnomes are enemies, but that could start to delve into some CS3 spoilers about who some Gnomes are.

Sample:

The more Vita looked around this place, the more she just loathed the garish design. It really seems like this place could compete with Garrelia Fortress for most hideous design from what she recalled on the plans and according to what Crow had told her they could also compete for worst food. Though she admits, she's not sure if this food quite is capable of being a lethal projectile. Though if it is, that could be an idea if she decides to enact that rule to escape.

Of course she is only keeping that in the back of her mind. It is always preferred to use non-lethal measures when possible to attain her goals and there were still things to investigate. She'd also rather have some idea of what the others here were capable of so she knew best who to frame and what method to even use.

But it would be far preferred to find some other means to escape. The rules mention a transport, but there seems to be no way to access one. No roads, no dock or train tracks, nothing where vehicles could be stored. None of this place's archaisms seemed capable of flight or long distance travel either. Even if something could be found, there is also the matter of knowing where here is and how to return to Erebonia.

This definitely isn't going to be easy and truly she can only depend on herself.

Killer or Victim Consideration: Killer, and I'm totally up for volunteering her to participate in a case. I could make her work as a victim, but I think the potential for a reveal of what sort of person she really is would be more of a shock since she can put on an act of being a good person rather than a morally grey at best and somewhat selfish woman that she truly is.

Fabricator Consideration: Given the right incentive, Vita would likely be a great fit considering that she's hidden in the open before and pretended to be a friend when she was actually an enemy. Considering her radio shows were live, she's quite capable of quick thinking to keep up an act as well.
